Your puppy comes with a 30-month health guarantee from the date of birth, covering life-altering conditions such as hip dysplasia, genetic eye diseases, and genetic heart defects. The buyer is responsible for maintaining the dog’s health by providing routine preventative care, including regular vaccinations and internal/external parasite control. In the event of any claim related to genetic eye or heart diseases, veterinary records must be provided to Doodle Horse Ranch as proof of routine care and vaccinations.
This health guarantee will be void if the dog is deemed overweight or malnourished by a veterinarian. Additionally, the buyer agrees not to excessively exercise the puppy before six months of age to prevent injury to developing hips and bones. The puppy should be fed high-quality puppy food and raised in a nurturing environment free from abuse or neglect.
It is strongly recommended that new puppies are kept away from other dogs and areas frequented by dogs until they have completed their full vaccination regimen, typically around 14-16 weeks of age.
These puppies are not intended for breeding purposes. While breeding rights are not currently restricted, it is advised that the puppy be spayed or neutered between 6-8 months of age, as failure to do so will nullify the health guarantee.
If life-altering hip dysplasia, genetic eye diseases, or genetic heart defects are diagnosed, the buyer must contact Doodle Horse Ranch prior to pursuing any corrective surgery. The buyer is also required to provide Doodle Horse Ranch with appropriate documentation confirming the genetic disorder, which may include an OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) certification for hip dysplasia, an OFA certification for a genetic heart disorder, or a CERF (Canine Eye Registration Foundation) exam certification for a genetic eye disease. The CERF exam must be conducted by a certified Veterinary Ophthalmologist.
Your puppy has an exceptional temperament. However, if you are dissatisfied with your puppy’s disposition at any time during the 30-month period, please feel free to contact Doodle Horse Ranch to discuss the possibility of returning the puppy (at your expense) and being placed on a waiting list for a puppy from an upcoming litter.
This warranty applies exclusively to the original purchaser. Any transfer of ownership will nullify all provisions of this agreement. In the event that this puppy develops any life-altering conditions, Doodle Horse Ranch agrees to provide a replacement puppy from the next comparable litter.
All associated shipping costs, including the crate, airline health certificate, and flight expenses, will be the responsibility of the buyer.
If you and your veterinarian determine that your dog can continue to live a happy life, Doodle Horse Ranch will offer a $500 refund to assist with veterinary expenses.
