Our Story: Horses & Doodles in Apopka, Florida
How It All Began
Our story began more than 27 years ago with our son. After he was bitten by a friend's Rottweiler, he became afraid of dogs, and we wanted to help him learn to trust them again. We went looking for a dog known for being gentle, friendly and loving, and that search led us to the Labradoodle.
That was the start of our breeding program. From the very first litter, our goal has been dogs that are more than wonderful family companions: dogs that bring comfort and joy to everyone they meet. Today, that same purpose guides every Labradoodle we raise.
Service Dogs Around the World
With their teddy-bear looks, low-shedding coats and almost human personalities, our Labradoodles quickly became sought after. We saw how much good they could do, so we began working with professional service dog trainers to place our dogs with people who need them most.
Today, more than one hundred Doodle Horse Ranch Labradoodles are working as dedicated service dogs around the world, and we couldn't be prouder of them.
Exceptional Horses
Horses are the other half of Doodle Horse Ranch. Our herd ranges from rescues who needed a second chance to Olympic-caliber Warmbloods bred for sport, and every one of them is raised with the same patience and care we give our puppies: green pastures, good food, daily handling and thoughtful training.
Our goal is simple: healthy, kind, athletic horses that make their owners proud. Here in Apopka, Florida, we work every day to set the standard for quality and integrity in the Central Florida equestrian community. Come see for yourself!
